Picking the right image tool
Start from what is wrong with the image: the wrong format, the wrong size in pixels, or a file too heavy to upload.
Wrong format
PNG to JPG Converter suits photos that a form or website only accepts as JPG; transparent areas turn white because JPG has no transparency. JPG to PNG Converter goes the other way when an editor or print shop asks for PNG. For your own website, PNG to WebP Converter and its JPG counterpart usually give smaller files, and WebP keeps transparency. WebP to PNG Converter helps when an app will not open a WebP image saved from the web.
Wrong size or too heavy
Image Resizer changes the pixel dimensions, with an option to keep the aspect ratio so nothing is stretched. Image Compressor keeps the dimensions, lowers the JPG quality instead, and tells you how much smaller the new file is. If an upload limit is in kilobytes, compress first; if the requirement is in pixels, resize. For very large photos, do both: resize, then compress.
Website extras
Favicon Generator turns one square image into the set of icon sizes that browsers and phones use, and Image to Base64 Converter produces a data URI you can paste straight into HTML or CSS for a small icon.
Everything runs in your browser using its built-in canvas, so your photos never leave your device.
